Silent Art Auction to Benefit Center Against Domestic Violence


The Center Against Domestic Violence has always believed in the healing power of art. The walls of the Center’s shelters are lined with art posters featuring uplifting images of strong women and children – survivors, just like the women and children who escape abusive homes and come to our shelters.


Monday, April 7, the art community will perform a little healing of its own, as artwork donated by more than fifty artists is auctioned off at “Drawing the Line Against Domestic Violence” – at Kathleen Cullen Fine Arts in Chelsea. Tickets are $100 per person, with VIP reception passes starting at $250 each and sponsorships starting at $500. The proceeds will benefit the arts program the Center runs for children in its shelters.
